Travel More in Your Own Home Country

Why don’t we feel the urge |ɜːdʒ| to explore our own country, our own city or town where we live? Why do we have this strange blindness to that what is right in front of us?  We so often forget the beauty that our own country has to offer, simply because we never actually think to explore it. And like many things that are right in front of us, we often don’t see them.  When you are walking around exploring new parts  of the city where you live, you can find out so many interesting and curious facts about the place you had become so used to! There are many reasons for travelling at home:There's so much even within thirty miles of your house that you’ve never seen before! Traveling in your country is usually cheaper than going abroad thanks to the shorter distance that you have to cover.  You’re used to the currency, speak the same language and are familiar with national transport networks. You don’t need these costly vaccinations.You can visit all your friends and family. You'll learn more about your country's history and  heritage. |ˈhɛrɪtɪdʒ| Travelling at home is an addiction – once you start it’s hard to stop because knowledge about your own country is priceless. You will come to appreciate    |əˈpriːʃɪeɪt| your own home country even more than you already do, and probably more than you ever thought you could. To experience something new and exciting you don’t have to travel to faraway countries, it can be found right here where you are. Let’s give our native places a chance to show their hidden beauty. By giving them a chance we will be surprised how wonderfull and unique they are.
