A One charity organisation in Russia is called 'Good Deed'. It aims to help
elderly people. They help in many ways, such as visiting people in their homes,
providing them with food, medicine, vitamins and someone to talk to. They also
help finance visits to doctors and specialists. Another well-known charity
organisation in Russia is called 'Caring Heart'. It has many programmes to help
the needy.
1.In what way does 'Good Deed' help people?
B ‘Save The Children’
Working in the countries of Latin America, Asia, Middle East and Africa,
‘Save The Children’, is a charitable organization that helps the kids all over
the world. They provide medical care, education and food to the children for a
better living. ‘Save The Children’ also work in the disaster and war time by
providing shelter to thousands of kids.
2.Who does ‘Save The Children’ provide with medical care?
C Some Charity Funds make bargains in the shops or organize actions in
order to raise money. I think it’s not so difficult to buy a new T-shirt especially
if you know that 20% goes to the Cancer Fund
(Фонд борьбы с раком) or to the victims of any disaster.
