What is it – eco-tourism?

Ecotourism is the opposite of mass  tourism . People travel to remote areas and visit faraway places without destroying or ruining the environment. Eco tourists travel to places where plant and animal life is the main attraction. They want to know more about how people live side by side in a natural habitat. Tourists stay in small local houses, as opposed to gigantic hotel complexes in mass tourism regions.

The International Ecotourism Society defines ecotourism as 'responsible travel to natural areas that conserves the environment and improves the well-being of local people.' Ecotourism has a save-the-planet goal. Unfortunately there are very few pristine and unpolluted areas left in the world and they must be protected. Ecotourism is a travelling to natural destinations with rare flora and fauna. 

We must be responsible eco-tourists but not intruders.

Аims of ecotourism

1.Нelping conserve nature in a faraway place. 2. Educating tourists about the place they are travelling to

3. Respecting the culture of people who live there 5. Minimizing the impact of tourism in the area. 6.Helping people who live there

Follow the rule, 'Preserve and improve'.

And remember that Nature is very fragile and we ought to take great care of it like a loving mother who takes great care of her only child.
