Ребята, сегодня нас ожидает виртуальное путешествие в Шотландию, родину Роберта Бернса, Артура Конан Дойля и Лох-несского чудовища.  Но прежде чем отправиться в путешествие,  вам надо выучить новые слова, которые помогут в нашем путешествии.

This is Scotland. It is situated in the north part of Great Britain. It is a part of the United Kingdom.

The symbol of country is a thistle.

Scotland is divided into three natural regions: the Southern Uplands, the Central Lowlands and the Highlands and islands. The capital of Scotland is Edinburgh.

The national dress of Scots is the kilt. The men wear it.  The wearing of tartans is traditional in Scotland.

Haggis is a traditional Scottish dish. They make it from the sheep.
